My Battle with Depression and Anxiety
I’d known anxiety and depression had messed up my quality of life for as long as I could remember.
My psychological and emotional health had suffered greatly as a result of the weight of hopelessness and my ongoing fear of the unknown.
I noticed that I was falling more and deeper into an endless gulf of darkness every day.
I felt like a mere shell of my former self because of the adverse effects of my medications and the little relief that traditional treatments offered.
It was during this time that a friend suggested CBD as a natural solution to ease my symptoms and perhaps provide some much-needed relief.
Although I had heard about CBD in passing, my understanding of it was rather superficial. To be quite honest, I was hesitant to give it a try for fear that it would be just another meaningless promise in my journey to recovery. I chose to give it a shot nonetheless, as I was in desperate need of a lifeline.
Cannabidiol, or CBD for short, is a non-psychoactive substance that is present in cannabis plants.
The euphoric “high” associated with cannabis usage is not produced by CBD but by its cousin THC.
Rather, CBD is well known for its potential therapeutic benefits.
The benefits of CBD
Mood Regulation: One of the most amazing effects of CBD is its capacity to regulate mood and lessen anxiety and depressive symptoms.
CBD interacts with the endocannabinoid system in our bodies, which is essential for maintaining balance.
CBD can lessen depressive and anxious feelings by affecting the release of serotonin, a neurotransmitter associated with happiness and wellbeing.
Anxiety Reduction: The anxiolytic (anxiety-reducing) qualities of CBD are well-known.

My personal journey with CBD

CBD played a major role in my ability to take back control of my life and see the end of a very long, dark tunnel.

My story is just one of many personal testimonies.
It’s important to emphasise that CBD is not a one-size-fits-all solution. This means that not everyone will benefit from it in the same way.
