Nyali MP Mohamed Ali popularly known as Moha Jicho Pevu has slammed Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho saying the governor is more concerned about unimportant issues instead of concentrating development in the county.

In a video posted on the Moha’s official page, the MP said the governor had little to show adding he was more concerned about his looks than development and improving the welfare of the residents.

“ What example does a leader set when he’s seen smoking shisha and taking selfies everyday like a socialite? What kind of leader is so pre-occupied by their looks to the extent of forgetting about development?,” posed Moha.

He further dismissed Joho’s pronouncement that he will contest for president in 2022 saying he did not have qualifications for the job.

“ Instead of focusing on building roads, building schools..you’re just pre-occupied with childish things..and you say you want to be Kenya’s president? What president (sic),” said Moha.

The two have been at loggerheads since Moha lost the ODM ticket to Joho’s cousin Said Abdalla aka Saidoo in the 2017 poll.

The MP accused the governor of wire-pulling to ensure Saido got the coveted ODM ticket.

Moha would go on to win the seat on an independent ticket.
