Skimpily Dressed Sasha Obama Spotted Smoking with Friends, Photos Go Viral

Sasha Obama, the daughter of former US president Barack Obama, stirred up controversy after she was spotted smoking a cigarette.

Sasha was seen smoking a cigarrette as she left a Labour Day celebration in Los Angeles on Monday.

The 22-year-old daughter of former president Barack Obama wore a midriff-baring blue maxi skirt with a barely-there, colourful bikini top.

Sasha capped off her look with a pair of black flip-flops while puffing cigarettes and chatting with her friends.

She appeared to forgo makeup for the outing in West Hollywood, California, wearing her long hair loose and exposing her belly button ring.

The recent University of Southern California (USC) graduate has been spotted smoking numerous times over the years.

Sasha appears to have inherited the behaviour from her politician father, who once admitted smoking up to 10 cigarettes each day.

Barack Obama, 62, started smoking when he was a teenager but made a commitment to Michelle Obama that he would stop before running for president.

“As a former smoker, I constantly struggle with it,” he said in a 2009 press conference.

“Have I fallen off the wagon sometimes? Yes. Am I a daily smoker or a constant smoker? No”

In his 2020 memoir, “A Promised Land,” Obama attributed his success in quitting smoking to his 25-year-old eldest daughter, Malia.

Barack claimed that the moment he noticed her “frown” after she “smelled it on his breath,” he was inspired to stop.

According to Michelle Obama, Sasha and Malia have been residing in Los Angeles since receiving their degrees from USC and Harvard University, respectively.

“The thing that I love the most is that those two girls are each other’s best friends,” Michelle said on the “Today” show last November.
