Senior Counsel Paul Muite has reacted to claims that he is suffering from cancer.
This is after a photo showing the lawyer’s extreme weight loss emerged on social media sparking mixed reactions.
The photo showed the Second Generation liberator looking skinny and weak indicating that he might be battling a medical condition.
In the photo which was taken in what looked like an office block showed Muite holding a carrier bag, standing upright while smiling at the camera.
However, in response to the photo, Muite clarified that he is not suffering from cancer but just observing his weight.
He said given his age, he decided to shed off weight to maintain his sugar levels, adding that he has never felt better like he’s feeling now.
Muite added that he enjoyed a one and a half hours of jogging at Ngong forest this morning.
“Reports on social media that I am sick with cancer are NOT TRUE. Given my age, I have had to shed off weight on purpose to keep sugar levels where they should be otherwise I have never felt better; enjoyed 1 & 1/2 hrs jogging in Ngong forest this morning,” Muite wrote.

People on these streets will always find a reason to discharge their negative energy. When you shed weight – you are sick.
