Drama ensued at the busy Kisumu bus park after a man suddenly collapsed and died on the spot.
The deceased man identified as Roy Onyango aka Ngala was narrating a story to his colleagues at the terminus when he collapsed.
He worked at the terminus as a loader.
Speaking to the press, an official at the bus park said they tried to rush Ngala to the hospital but it was too late since his heart had already stopped beating.
“Ngala was very jovial in the morning and was talking with his fellow loaders when this suddenly happened leaving everyone in disbelief,” Ochieng Omwa said.
His body was taken to the mortuary pending investigations into the same.
This comes barely a week after Pan African Alliance (PAA) party chairperson and lawyer Edward Mwachinga collapsed and died.
Mwachinga died after collapsing in his house.
His demise was announced by Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi in a tweet on Wednesday morning, June 15.
“Sadenned by the passing on of my brother & Chairperson of the National Election Board of the @PAAParty, Edward Mwachinga
“Mr. Edward Mwachinga recently been appointed to the Kenya Kwanza Alliance National Economic Task Force where we envisaged immeasurable input from him,” Kingi wrote.
