Kyabazinga William Gabula Nadiope IV got married to the love of his life, Jovia Mutesi, in an auspicious ceremony.
Many have dubbed the Busoga royal wedding as the wedding of the year in Uganda and East Africa.
Thousands of people in the Busoga Kingdom and millions across the world followed the much-publicised event.

Suffice it to say, everything about the occasion exuded regal grandeur.

Many people congratulated the newest royal couple on their marriage after seeing their photos shared online.
The Isebantu’s (father of the people) composure and masculine demeanour notably charmed the women.
Some women praised the king for his tall physique and imposing jawline—oh, the epitome of tall, dark, and attractive.
The men were more reserved, but those who did speak lauded the inherent beauty of Inhebantu (the mother of the people), Jovia Mutesi.
However, one thing that really stuck out was how seldom the Kyabazinga smiled.
Naturally, a lot of people anticipated that Kyabazinga would be beaming with joy after getting a stunning wife.

The Kyabazinga, however, remained rather serious during the wedding, and never once did he appear to be smiling widely.
Why Kyabazinga doesn’t smile
After conducting research, Gotta News has determined the most plausible explanations for why the Kyabazinga of the Busoga kingdom declined to smile publicly.

Some pundits claim that the king is a representation of justice and fairness, and his face should reflect such.
Our source stated, “If he smiles at someone, it could be misconstrued as a sign of favouritism.”
He said, “The king is supposed to put on a neutral face and refrain from displaying emotions like laughter or tears in public.”
However, the queen smiled freely during the entire ceremony.
