Roots Party presidential running mate Justina Wamae has admitted that she is ready to work with the government.

The outspoken politician has recently been on the receiving end for among other reasons congratulating President-elect William Ruto.

Speaking in an interview on TV47, Wamae stated that she is willing to work should a job come her way after the next president’s assumption of office.

“If you see my page and all reactions, people troll me saying that I’m looking for a job, kwani ni siri? Me natafuta job

“Tumeenda elections, President mpaka MCA walikua wanatafuta jobs, mimi najifanya niko na kitu na sina? Sina, me natafuta job, kwani ni siri,” she said.

Wamae added that she has passion in public service and she can work in any of the three arms of government.

“If someone says that I’m looking for a job that’s true because my passion is in public service, and public service includes the three arms of government. So people should stop shaming me, I’m looking for a job,” she added.

This came days after Wamae dismissed his boss George Wajackoyah’s disciplinary summon.

Hours after Wajackoyah summoned Wamae and set her hearing for Friday, August 26, she issued a public response where she termed the summon as petty.

She also told off her boss over claims that she offered her accommodation and a car during campaigns ahead of the just-concluded general election.

She distanced herself from the party and asked Wajackoyah to carry on with the party affairs alone.

“I will not respond to pettiness. But on the non-existent accommodation and car, you imagined you ‘assisted’ me with you can withdraw in your dreams

“It is your party do what you deem fit, I will soldier on,” Wamae wrote.
