Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa has found himself on the receiving end after claiming that teachers are ‘stealing’ from parents using the the Competence-Based Curriculum (CBC).

Speaking recently, the controversial MP claimed that teachers were using the new curriculum to exploit parents.

In this case, Barasa said teachers have been taking advantage of the system by demanding children to bring chicken to school.

He said teachers would teach students about body parts of the bird then go with the chicken meat after classes.

Barasa noted that President William Ruto’s administration is determined to get rid of the new learning system.

“Walimu wamekula kuku mpaka imeisha kwa maboma ya watu. Hiyo CBC tunataka iondolewe kabisa,” Barasa said.
