A Kenyan lady has shared an experience that she had with a school-going boy who wanted to date her.
In a video widely circulated online, the lady narrates how the 19-year-old boy got close to her, built a friendship and finally shot his shot.
She said they would frequently meet when she was going home from work and he would, at times, help her with carrying luggages.
The lady says the young man was also always at her disposal whenever she needed a helping hand at her house.
“I would call him and tell him I want this done; please pick this up and take it to my home. I’ve even calles someone to help him with notes because he always complains that accounting is hard,” she said.
The lady noted that all was well until recently when he texted her and asked her out for a date.
“Three days ago, he texts me and says, ‘hi I didn’t have the courage to ask you this, but I like you, can I please take you out on a date?
“Obviously I ignored and I assumed that he had mistaken the phone number,” she added.
However, despite ignoring the text message, the lady said the young man kept insisting on the same when they meet.
“Yesterday when I was getting home from work and we met, he told me, ‘why are you ignoring the fact that I texted you’ and I started laughing; he told me he was serious,” she said.
It was during their next meet up when the young man told the lady she has two weeks to decide whether they were going to get into a relationship or not.
“He was like, “okay, I’m going to give you two weeks to think about it and then you give me the answer and he walked away,” she said.
