Miguna Miguna: I’m Sick and Tired of Sakaja’s Lies

Sakaja and Miguna

Exiled lawyer Miguna Miguna has castigated Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Johnson Sakaja for what he sees as blatant lies.

In a social media post, the Miguna slammed Sakaja for contradictions in his statements, which he said exposed the senator’s lying ways.

The Canada based lawyer revisited the senator’s earlier statements where he had said he became a millionaire while still a student at the University of Nairobi.

“I’m sick and tired of Sakaja Johnson’s LIES. He had publicly stated how he became a millionaire businessman with a Mercedes-Benz vehicle while at the University of Nairobi many years ago,” said the lawyer.

This comes hours after Sakaja claimed his failure to complete his studies at the UoN was occasioned by lack of school fees.

“How he grew up in Atwoli’s household. He said he had a DEGREE in ACTUARIAL SCIENCE. Why is he now wailing about poverty?” posed Miguna.

In an interview with KTN on Friday, July 1, the legislator admitted that he did not complete a few units of his Actuarial Science degree.

He further said he felt embarrassed to go back and finish the units upon his nomination in parliament in 2013.

He would go on to be elected as the Nairobi Senator in the 2017 poll.

“I studied Actuarial Science at UoN but had issues with a few units and I was too embarrassed to go back to class. I am however qualified for the job and I will be on the ballot,” he said.

In a separate interview on Churchill Show, Sakaja is on record saying he bought a Mercedes Benz in Campus.

“I bought my first Mercedes Benz for Ksh 500,000 while in campus,” he said.

On Thursday, CUE has officially revoked Sakaja’s degree from Teams University in Uganda.
