Omar Lali’s lawyer, Tecra Muigai family disagree on Tecra’s cause of death

An autopsy conducted on the body of the late Keroche Breweries heiress Tecra Muigai revealed that she succumbed to injuries sustained on the left side of her head.

However, reports indicate that lawyer James Orengo and businessman Peter Kuguru who represent the deceased family and a lawyer representing Lali have failed to settle on a mutual agreement on what led to Tecra’s fatal fall.

Tecra’s family maintains that their daughter was pushed to her death while Lali’s representative insists that the fall was accidental.

Sources close to the autopsy results revealed that Tecra’s body had no other injuries or defence wounds to indicate that she struggled before she died.

The teams agreed to meet again and agree on a final report before the burial of the deceased.

This comes a week after Lali revealed that security officers have been reaching out to his family members asking them to convince Lali to confess punching Tecra.

“They told my brother to tell me to confess to punching her…and that once I accept this as a formality they will help me get out of jail. Mimi nimpige kwa kazi gani, nimuue kwa kazi gani? Watu hawawezi kukubali ajali za mwenyezi mungu. I am suffering without her,” Lali told Standard Media on Thursday, May 7.
