A Ghanian man has fallen victim of buying fake smartphones
A young man bought a smartphone in the streets of Accra and when he got home ready to use his phone he was surprised finding it’s a piece wood

According to sources, the victims brother shared the sad news on his Facebook page
His brother ,Thomas Tag Amenyo posted photos evidence to show how his brother was duped
The pictures clearly indicated the phone was fake
It had a well shapes rectangular piece of wood embedded inside the phones cover where the elements are supposed to be.
The disappointed brother cursed the man who conned his brother
“Some phone dealers will not make it to heaven, see what they did to my brother in Accra. Any victim in the house? Share your experience,” he said.
They did not reveal where the fake phone was bought but people speculated it is the circle because many similar cases have happened there.
In a separate report, drama ensued at a phones shop in Nigeria after a man was scammed after visiting the shop to purchase an iPhone 11 Pro Max.
The man who is from a village called Ikeja in Lagos, was given an Iphone 6 with Vitamin C tablets attached at the back as the triple camera.
In a video widely shared online, the victim went back to the computer village to return the Vitamin C Pro Max as he called it.
It was clear that the phone which he bought for KSh 28,000 was fake.

According to witnesses, the computer village is notorious for scamming unsuspecting clients.
