DP Ruto is voice of majority Kenyans, you can’t pin him down – Moses Kuria

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has warned Deputy President William Ruto’s political detractors saying they’ll not succeed in their attempts to mud-sling the DP.

Kuria was reacting to a report in one of the local dailies which cast aspersions on the character of some of the allies of the DP.

Speaking during a church service in Embu, Kuria suggested DP Ruto’s detractors had underestimated the multitude of the poor Kenyans who were supporting the DP.

“They see the deputy president and think he’s an individual. No! DP represents the majority from poor background who trudged to school barefoot. The day they’ll come to that realisation, it’ll be too late,” said Kuria.

“Because he’s not by himself, he’s a spirit. The hustler nation is real. And I’m advising them; wake up now. Fungua macho sasa because ukisinzia kidogo and think you’re fighting an individual, ole wako utashangaa sana.”

Kuria’s remarks followed a newspaper report which cast the deputy president as a man under siege who had deal with baggage of people who surround him.

However, the DP and his supporters have dismissed the report as ‘sponsored propaganda’ by DPs political enemies.
