Diamond Platnumz’s fans have been yearning to know what transpired during his meeting with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
Platnumz’s manager has now lifted the lid on what happened during the meeting.
The Tanzanian crooner has been in the spotlight since the arrest of hip hop icon Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
In one of the viral clips, Diamond Platnumz is heard saying that some of the events during his meeting with Diddy are not to be discussed in public.
The clip has elicited all manner of controversies and interest from fans as to what truly transpired during the musician’s meeting with the American producer.
Now, Diamond Platnumz’s manager, Babu Tale, has come out to shed light on the happenings during the meeting.
According to Babu Tale, Diddy invited them to his room to watch a movie together.
However, that failed to materialise as their music producer, Swizz Beatz, prevented them from going into the room.
“We went as planned and left without any issues. It was only recently that I realised Swizz Beatz was actually protecting us. When we arrived, we stayed outside,” Babu Tale recounted.
He added, “Diddy went upstairs to his room to watch a movie, and after some time, two of his employees came to escort us for a meal. Later, Diddy sent for us to join him in his room, but Swizz became visibly upset, and we ended up leaving without saying goodbye. At the time, we thought our brother Swizz was holding us back, but in reality, he was protecting us.”
Tale’s account of events isn’t much different from that of Platnumz’s former friend and videographer, Lukamba.
Lukamba said Diddy was impressed by Diamond’s social media pages, referring to the latter as Michael Jackson of Africa. He spilled the beans during an interview with Bongo Five.
He said they visited Diddy at his beach house in Los Angeles and stayed about 30 minutes outside of the house.
” We went with Diamond Platnumz, his manager Babu Tale, and Swiss Beats.When we entered, we met him lying on a bed being massaged.” We waited for him to finish his massage for like 40 minutes. Then he started talking to Swiss, who then introduced Diamond to Diddy.”
Lukamba said Diddy was angry with them and even refused to see them off.
The hip hop icon is accused of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting for prostitution.
He has pleaded not guilty and is being held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center.
