-DJ Fatxo broke down in tears after Jeff Mwathi’s mother bashed him during a radio appearance.
Lawrence Njuguna, alias DJ Fatxo, the embattled Mugithi star, broke down in tears on Tuesday, May 22, during a radio appearance after Jeff Mwathi’s mother called in to bash him.
Jeff Mwathi’s mother confronted the DJ during the Radio Jambo interview and stated she had been in too much anguish after her quest to figure out what caused her son’s death had hit a dead end.
Jeff Mwathi’s mother bashed Fatxo, insisting the latter was with his late son on the fateful day he met his death.
“There’s glaring evidence that DJ Faxto killed my son. He picked up my son, and they partied together. I called Jeff and told him to go home, but he didn’t because Faxto insisted on dropping him home.”
“I wish him (DJ Fatxo) to lose his beloved so he can taste what I’m going through. May my son’s spirit haunt my killers,” she said.
In his defence, DJ Fatxo said he did not have the money or the connections to obstruct justice, as Jeff’s mother claimed.
“For instance, Pastor Ezekiel was recently arrested, yet he knows who is who in this government. I do not know any senior government officials. Are they trying to say, I could afford to bribe everyone, from the police to pathologists to detectives and even Kindiki?” he said.
He further claimed that if indeed he had intended to kill Jeff, he would have taken him elsewhere and not to his home.
Mwathi allegedly fell on February 22 from a DJ Fatxo apartment’s 10th-floor window.
According to reports, Mwathi had met the performer hours earlier to talk about an interior design project that DJ Fatxo wanted him to undertake.

The two drove to DJ Faxto’s home and would allegedly fall from the building a few hours later, at 4 am.
DJ Fatxo was acquitted of murder charges in the death of Jeff’ Mwathi a week ago. This is after the DCI said they did not find Fatxo culpable.
