Speaking on Citizen TV on Friday, October 6, the actor disclosed that he started acting at the tender age of four.
“I went to school in Kenya and England. Locally, I attended prestigious schools such as Moi Educational Centre, Sunshine School, and Brookhouse School,” he said.
“I also went to Oxford University to study Public Policy, Law and Criminal Justice. This was to fulfill my parents’ expectations.”
He said he also had a brief stint in the corporate world before a second opportunity presented itself to him to pursue his childhood passion.
“One day we were watching something with my dad, and he hailed Dr Ofweneke’s acting skills. That’s when I decided to pursue my passion,” said Junior.
He said his former friends in the corporate world occasionally call to taunt him for pursuing acting as a career.
“So, you decided to throw away the suit and pursue acting,” said Junior in obvious amusement.
“But as long as I’m happy and pursuing my passion, that’s what matters,” said the actor.

The actor admitted he never thought he would feature in a Swahili show.
“My Swahili was poor, but my fellow cast members have been supportive, and now it has greatly improved in recent days,” he said.
In the Becky telenovela, Andrew Levi (Junior) has an affair with Lucy Maina (playing the roles of main character Becky and the housemaid).

Levi gets a child with Becky, which her current girlfriend Trisha is unaware of.
This sets the stage for a showdown between the two women, characterised by strife and jealousy.
