Akothee has openly hinted that his marriage to Denis Schweizer, commonly referred to as “Omosh the 7th,” is over.
Akothee’s comedian friend, Dr Ofweneke, prodded the singer to address the ongoing rumours surrounding his marriage to Schweizer.
In an Instagram post brimming with good humour, Dr Ofweneke expressed his unchanging support for the singer, her relationship status notwithstanding.
Dr Ofweneke wrote, “Babe @akotheekenya, even if you have a wedding every other day, I will always be here!!! Bring another white man along! But I must laugh. This one too must pass, and you will be okay!”
In response to Dr Ofweneke’s post, Akothee responded with laughter and a hint that she has moved on and that an eighth wedding might be on the cards.
She humorously remarked, “The 8th loading. Ochise the 8th.”
Akothee’s revelation caused a buss among her supporters, with many surprised by her ability to move on quickly after breakup with Omosh.

On Sunday, October 1, Akothee shared about ‘a traumatic experience,’ which left her emotionally unstable.
“I started by monitoring my behaviours, I realised I was breaking down quite often for no reason, even just a simple interview. I had become emotionally unstable, and I couldn’t put a finger on it. I never knew about emotional abuse until I started therapy,” said the singer.
She further revealed that she had sought therapy and was recovering from the trauma of uncovering some “ugly stuff.”
“I have come out of a very dangerous zone and have been healing in private. I am in my second month of therapy. The trauma I went through after finding out the truth and some ugly stuff that left me shaking, ” she said.
