Kiambu: 15-Year-Old Girl Admits Killing 4 Family Members in Bizarre Confession

A Form One student has shocked many after boldly confessing to have killed three of her siblings.

According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the 15-year-old also confessed to killing her 20-month-old cousin.

The suspect killed her siblings aged 15 months, 5 years and 7 years.

According to a police report at the Kikuyu Police Station, the young lady committed the crimes between February and July 2021.

DCI disclosed that the girl’s father is the one who reported her daughter to the police on August 28 when he made a formal complaint at Kiambu Police Station.

It is after interrogations when the 15-year-old added that she also killed her little cousin at Gathiga in Kabete.

The suspect explained that she killed the little one by drowning him inside a well last month.

“She also confessed to have murdered her cousin who was 20 months old, at Gathiga village, Kabete sub county, by drowning him in a well in their compound sometimes last month,” DCI said.

The suspect is currently held at Kikuyu Police Station.

Elsewhere, a Form Four student was arrested after confessing to killing a taxi driver, 40-year-old Stephen Kimani.

Kimani met his death after being promised KSh 30,000 by the student if he was willing to transport the 17-year-old to his rural home.

Elijah was seeking to travel to Kisii where he claimed to have a patient admitted at Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital.

The two left Nairobi for Kisii on the night of February 11 and arrived at the hospital the following day at around 9 am.

While in Kisii, Elijah is said to have called his contact, Maxwell Nyangoya who said the patient’s relative who was set to pay for the taxi was in Kericho town.

When the relative failed to appear, Nyangoya and the two left for Kericho with Elijah promising the taxi driver KSh 15,000 on top of the agreed amount.

However, Elijah confessed that they turned against the driver and stabbed him in the neck and the stomach before disposing of his body at a thicker in Kipranya, a village in Kericho County.

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) tracked the two using mobile data and recovered Kimani’s motor vehicle at Elijah’s home.
