(Video) Eugene Wamalwa’s Rally Ends Abruptly after Didmus Barasa ‘Steals’ Crowd

Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa has sparked reactions online after ‘stealing’ a crowd from Defence Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa.

In a viral video online, the CS was addressing a crowd when Barasa appeared on the rooftop of a building adjacent to where Wamalwa was holding his meeting.

With his signature cap, the MP who was seemingly inspecting a project was seen walking on the rooftop with three men.

Wamalwa noticed him and immediately started throwing shades at him.

In no time, upon spotting the MP, a section of the crowd left the meeting while the CS was still speaking and joined the MP.

This forced Wamalwa to cut short his speech since all attention had been shifted to Barasa who was ready to address the locals.

While addressing the locals, Barasa took a swipe at Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance presidential aspirant Raila Odinga and Wamalwa following the flopped meeting.

He also emphasized Deputy President William Ruto’s remarks where he referred the Defence CS to a woman.

“Nimesikia juzi akilia (Wamalwa), akipiga kelele eti mtu alimuita mwanamke. Ningependa kurudia; wewe Eugene ni mwanamke hiyo tabia sio ya mwanamme nitakutafutia mtu wa kukuoa,” Barasa said.

Didmas arrived at the right time, identified the right roof, and Eugene's made the worst mistake of announcing that Didmas was in the vicinity. The damage was swift and irreversible.
