A video showing last moments of a couple that perished in a grisly accident has emerged on social media sparking reactions.
The video showed Norbert Tizikara, 32, and his lover Caroline Aturinda having fun and cuddling before the accident on Sunday, July 10.
The lovebirds died while heading home after being hit by a train while crossing a railway.
In the video, the couple could be seen hugging each other while laughing in what appeared to be a nightclub.
It is reported that after partying the night away, the couple and their company identified as Anne went home using their vehicle
According to the driver of the train that killed the couple, he did what was required of him but the motorist did not stop.
“He hooted before reaching the level crossing as is always required of them. He said he had the head lamps flushing bright for any other motorist to see, but he suspects that the accident could have resulted from carelessness of the car driver,” Uganda Railways Corporation said in a statement.
A CCTV footage of the crash showed the train ramming the vehicle crushing it into pieces.
The woman died on the spot while the man died moments later.

The video sparked reactions from netizens as seen below.
Glosh Glosh: Let us not judge and death is death on top of that it’s our way, rest in internal peace.
Golda Namara: A train crossing is supposed to have barriers. I think Ugandan drivers should be advocating for better safety features at these crossings instead of witch hunting the deceased couple.
