A CCTV footage has emerged online showing armed robbers terrorizing a woman at her home in Gataka, Rongai.
The video which has since been widely circulated on social media shows how six thugs accosted the woman just moments after driving into her gated house.
According to the video, two thugs are seen armed with handguns, another with a machete and an AK47 rifle.
In the incident that happened on Sunday, June 12, the woman locked herself inside her car but her attempts to drive away bore no fruits.
As she was struggling to drive away, one of the thugs smashed the driver’s window with machete before getting ahold of the frightened woman.

After smashing the window, the thugs ransacked the vehicle and picked a few items and proceeded to drag the woman inside her house.
While inside the house, the one of the robbers is seen manhandling the woman as the other ones ransack the house.
They picked valuables including phones and a soundbar.

The video sparked reactions from netizens who suspected that the robbery was premeditated.
