Bongo star Diamond Platnumz’s sister, Queen Darleen and her polygamous husband, Isihaka Mtoro, have separated.
Queen Darleen who is also a musical artiste shared the new development during a sit-down interview with Wasafi Media.
She, however, clarified that she still loves Isihaka whom they share a son together.
“Nampenda yule kaka kufa, na ndio maana kuna kipindi mimi nilikuwa nimekonda mukanisema kunisema, lakini ilikuwa napambana na hali ya kusema mimi Mwanahawa Abdul Juma almaarufu Queen Darling sipo kwenye ndoa. Natamka kwa kauli yangu, ila yeye mume wangu sijui,” Queen Darleen said.
In a statement she also shared on her Instagram page, Queen Darleen clarified that she left her marriage for the sake of their son.
“I have accepted to leave someone I love for the sake of someone that I love the most. I love my son Balqis Isihaka Mtoro so much. My elders will understand me,” she said.
Queen Darleen got married to Isihaka as the second wife in a colorful Islamic wedding ceremony in 2019.
The singer had been dating her husband for more than a year before they decided to wed.

Elsewhere, Diamond clarified that he is not intending to settle down anytime soon.
Speaking in a recent interview with Deutsche Welle, the singer who is currently in Germany said he will consider marrying when he is about to retire.
Diamond argued that marrying at the moment will distract him from producing good music and ultimately killing his career.
“…you know, I still wanna give them more music. I still wanna give them more good music,” the singer said.
He said he knows people who slowed down on their music careers after getting married.

“That’s what I have seen. From all of my friends. That’s why I feel like, let me give you guys the good music. The time I’m about to retire I will get married,” Diamond added.
