A study has shown that one in every three women has gone on a date with a guy they were not interested in, but just to enjoy some free food.
The research by three physiologists from the US highlighted a woman who said that she was willing to go on a date with any man as long as he treats her well.
The lady in her 20s noted that she was open to any man’s date as long as she gets to eat good food, go to a fancy restaurant, and, of course, take photos of the sumptuous meals.
“If you ask me out, I choose an expensive place I haven’t been; when a man asks me out, he shoulders the bill,” she said.
The study, dubbed “Society for Personality and Social Psychology,” explained that most women make such moves when they are in a financial crisis or when they want to try out a new restaurant.
Taking pictures of expensive meals to show off on social media was also one of the reasons why most women would accept going on a date with any man.
The researchers, Brian Collisson, Jennifer Howell, and Trista Harig, conducted two studies, the first one in which 820 women took part and the second one in which 327 women took part.

In the first study, 23% of the women noted that they have ever engaged in a plate for play while 33% of the women copied the same in the second study.
The researchers also found that women who find it socially acceptable to go on dates for food exhibit the dark triad of personality traits, which include narcissism, machiavellianism, and psychopathy.

The study also found that women who go on dates for food are fond of one-night stands, faking an orgasm, or sending unsolicited sexual pictures.
