Hussein Mohammed quits KTN News after 9 years

Crimes and Investigations editor and reporter Hussein Mohammed has called it quits at Standard Group owned TV station KTN News.

Mohammed announced his departure through his social media platforms, noting that it has been a wonderful nine years at the station.

He further thanked his colleagues for the support they accorded him over the years he has worked with them.

“It has been a great 9 years at @KTNNewsKE Thank you to my colleagues and to all for the support and goodwill you have shown to me over the years. See you soon InshaAllah,” he wrote.

This came hours after news anchor Diana Rachel announcing her resignation from Ebru TV.

Taking to Instagram, Diana said that she is done with working in a toxic environment where she is being controlled like a school kid.

She further noted that she is almost 32-years-old and so it is time to fly and aim higher.

“I am done with being in an environment that is so toxic to even breathe. I am so done dealing with humans who feel like they have you. They are just controlling every move that you make,” she said.

“You cannot even think for yourself. You are treated like a school child. I mean I am almost 32. It is time for me to fly,” she added.
