Kenyan comedian Elsa Majimbo has been nominated for E! People’s Choice Awards.
The crisp-crunching comic who gained her popularity and fame during the coronavirus pandemic was nominated under the African Social Star category.

She was nominated alongside African Social Star Category alongside Sho Madjozi (South Africa), Karl Kugelmann (SA), Dimma Umeh (Nigeria), Lydia Forson (Ghana), Thuso Mbedu (SA), Zozi Tunzi (SA), among others.
Majimbo shared the good news through her social media pages, further urging netizens to vote for her.
“I am so excited and shocked to announce that I have been nominated E! People’s Choice Awards in the category of African Social Star. While I don’t know how I got here so quickly, what I do know is I wouldn’t have gotten here without all of your support. So please continue to show me your support by voting for me with up to 25 votes a day, link in my bio!!!!” she wrote.
Voting commenced on October 1 and ends on October 23 at midnight.
One can vote up to 25 times per category, per day, per method.
The voting sites are Twitter or Xfinity.
This came months after landing a lucrative deal with American singer Rihanna’s cosmetics brand Fenty Beauty.
Majimbo shared the news through her social media page, thanking Fenty Beauty for the opportunity.
