BBC journalist Akisa Wandera is officially off the market after exchanging vows with her longtime lover only identified as Charles.
According to reports, the media personality and her fiancé exchanged vows at a colourful wedding in her home in Busia County.
Photos from the wedding ceremony showed Akisa wearing a maroon dress with a touch of gold while her fiancé wore a beige Kaunda suit with hats.
The two lovebirds are said to have dated for a long time before they decided to make it official.
The wedding comes a month after Wandera left Standard Media Group-owned KTN News where he had worked for over 6 years.
She left KTN News for BBC.
Akisa started her media career at GBS TV before moving to Ebru in 2014 as a news reporter. She later became an anchor at the same station.
She joined KTN in 2016.
Wandera studied journalism at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication and years later, graduated with a degree from the United States International University (USIU-Africa), emerging top of her class.
