Controversial gospel artiste Kelvin ‘Bahati’ Kioko has been on the receiving end since he released a collabo with secular group Boondocks Gang.
His recent critic is fellow artist Emmanuel King popularly known as Masterpiece.
In a video posted by Mpasho, Masterpiece likens Bahati to a devil after being asked to comment about Bahati’s latest song.
He states that Bahati is full of hate and his EMB record is like a hotel where people get in and out.
“He is a devil, He has an evil heart and his record label is a hotel where one gets in and goes out (huyo ni ibilisi, ako na roho chafu kama duster na EMB, hio ni hotel, watu wanaingia wakitoka,” says Masterpiece.
Masterpiece’s remarks follow Bahati’s latest EMB signee Peter Blessing quit the label barely six months after being signed by the record lebel.
Bahati has since sued Blessing demanding an amount slightly more than Sh2 million for breach of contract.
The collabo with Boondocks Gang has also seen Bahati clash with a section of his fans who have accused him of promoting mediocrity and he had switched to Gengetone to remain relevant.
The song features Bahati as a priest while Odi wa Murang’a and X-ray of Boondocks as sinners coming at the pulpit to confess.
