Protesters chant Haki Yetu as George Floyd protests intensify

A video of a Kenyan chanting ‘haki yetu’ during the ongoing Minneapolis protests has made its way to the internet exciting a social media users.

In the video he recorded using his phone, the unidentified man psychs up the crowd who chant the popular ‘haki yetu’ (Swahili for our right) slogan after him.

“We can chant in Swahili, we say haki yetu, haki yetu,” he psychs the crowd.

This comes hours after Alex Ndiritu from Nyeri made a social media comment suggesting that the Minneapolis protesters should burn down the White House.

“THEY ARE THREATENING TO BURN DOWN THE WHITE HOUSE! We must Protect President Trump and his Administration. All threats must be taken seriously. Please RT to inform the FBI, Secret Service and the CIA,” comedian Terrence Williams tweeted with a screenshot of Nderitu’s comment.

The comment went viral and ignited a hot debate among American citizens with most of them tagging the CIA, the FBI and the Secret Service.
