Elgeyo Marakwet Kipchumba Murkomen has bashed Jubilee vice chairperson David Murathe for effortlessly attempting to drag Deputy President William Ruto into the Kenya Medical Supplies Agency (KEMSA) scandal.
Speaking during a recent interview, Murathe claimed that DP Ruto’s allies are shareholders at a company that was involved in the embezzlement of COVID-19 funds.

The company known as Kilig allegedly received KSh 7.7 billion in direct procurement from KEMSA.
“We have the evidence. We have the legal transfers, go to Kenya Commercial Bank and find out who the account holders of Kilig Limited are; you will find that they are known partners of DP William Ruto,” he said.
In a message to Murathe, Murkomen quoted a Bible verse which tells the story of Nebuchadnezzar, the king who made a gold statue and asked his followers to worship him.
“King Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold and required judges, governors, senators and all leaders to worship it.
“Some astrologers (Murathes) accused Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego of insubordination. They were thrown into fire. They were unharmed. They came out and were promoted. We are almost there!,” he said.
Murkomen’s Bible parable was in one way or the other aimed at President Uhuru Kenyatta who said he will only work with those who support his agenda
Murathe is the astrologer because he has been predicting people’s downfall.
