Kenyan ‘twins’ who lied about marrying each other issues apology

Two lovers, Lexie and Bryan who made headlines on Saturday, January 9 after declaring they are twins have now revealed the truth.

The two changed the tone during an interview with Jalang’o on his online platform when they came out clean stating that they were only doppelgangers.

The further disclosed during an interview with Tuko.co.ke that they performed the stant only to promote a show they intended to launch.

“People misinterpreted the whole thing. If they gave us a chance to air the show then they would understand we were trying to create awareness,” Bryan said

They also stated that Kenya misunderstood the video they shared on their Tiktok account.

The two had even previously lied that after they fell in love their parents disowned them.

The two finally set the records clear that they lied for publicity and further issued an apology to their parents and the whole nation.

The two also apologized for using someone’s child in their clout chase.

“To our parents and to Kenyans, we are sorry. We should not have lied about being twins,” the two said.

The even revealed that they have not been together for a long time as they had lied previously.
