Autopsy results of a female lawyer who was found dead inside her house in Syokimau on Friday, January 8 has been released.
According to government pathologist Johansen Oduor who conducted the autopsy, Elizabeth Koki suffocated to death.
He mentioned that Koki had suffered injuries on the mouth which he said are consistent with a gag.
A Congolese national, Christian Kadima, who was spotted leaving Koki’s house on the night she died has since been arrested in connection to the murder.
According to reports, the two who were reportedly dating were having an argument on the night Koki died over photos found on Kadima’s phone.
Kadima told detectives that Koki fell from the bed and hit her head, adding that he left her house and drove off in her car to the Nairobi CBD, where he met a friend and narrated what had transpired.
The two would later part ways with his friend going to Riruta while he booked a room at a lodging where he was later arrested.
Koki’s body was discovered by her domestic manager inside her bedroom.
It also emerged that Kadima is wanted in South Africa for assault.
The suspect reportedly assaulted one Mirada Jacob in July 2017 and went into hiding.
