Boils usually appear as red, painful swollen bumps under the skin the skin and feels warm when touched. They might look like enlarged pimples but actually they are not. They form due to an infection in the hair follicle. The pus-filled bumps are usually uncomfortable and painful.

A boil would then become big with time. Then pain caused by the boil might make you want to squeeze it but that is not advisable. Once you squeeze a boil, the bacteria infection on the skin will spread to other areas creating more boils on your body.
Here are several remedies that one can use to treat boils at home with seeking help from doctors.
Use heat
You can use warm compress or a heating pad. Dip a cloth into warm water and press it gently against the boil for about 20 minutes. You can repeat it several times a day. This will give access to white blood and antibodies cells in the area to fight infection.
Use castor oil
Castor oil contains antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. This will help you treat the boil at home without medical attention. You are required to apply the oil on the boil twice a day for several days. The boil will eventually disappear.
Using Epsom Oil
Epsom Oil, according to dermatologists, drys completely the pus in boil. You are required to dissolve the salt in warm and compress the boil several times a day.

Use Tumeric powder
This powder can help you get rid of the boil by either applying it on the boil or ingesting it. If you choose to ingest, you are required to mix it with water or milk and drink atleast thrice during the day. If you will apply directly on the boil, you have to mix it with water or ginger. Do it twice a day.
