abducted kenyan youths

Four out of six youths abducted by people believed to be state agents have been released.

The youthful Kenyans were abducted in December 2024 for criticising the government.

On Monday, the families of the four said their abducted kin talked to them.

CNN journalist Larry Madowo who has been in the forefront in calling for the government to release the youth posted a message on X that Mwangi and Muteti had been released.

Peter Muteti was found in Nairobi CBD.

Mwangi was reportedly dumped by his abductors in Nyeri.

Thereafter, bloggers posted photos of Mwangi and Muteti reunited with their parents.

Rony Kiplagat, who is the brother of cartoonist Kibet Bull (not yet released), was found in
Machakos County.

Bernard Kavuli, abducted in Ngong, was found in Kitale.

The abductors are yet to release cartoonist Rony Kiplagat’s brother, Kibet Bull.

Steve Mbisi, who is still missing, is yet to be found.

Kenyans have vowed to continue with demonstrations until the abductions are ended and all abducted
persons released.
