Revered musician and actor Sanaipei Tande has lost his father, Manasseh Lemaiyian Tande.
Lemaiyian died Friday, October 13, after a short illness, his family said in his obituary.
He was described as a great man who touched their hearts with his love and kindness.
“Manasseh’s life was an inspiring testament to strength and resilience, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will forever warm our hearts,” the family said.
Lemaiyian is survived by his wife Lucy, Sanaipei’s brother Saimi, and two grandchildren.
The deceased will be buried on Thursday, October 19, at the family’s residence in Matasia, Kajiado County.

Speaking recently on the Engage Talk stage, Sanaipei Tande hailed her father as an upstanding man who taught her to be truthful.
“My father is an upstanding dad and an amazing man, diligent, hardworking, and honest. He is a people person,”she says in the viral speech published online last Thursday, a day before his dad’s passing.
She described his dad as liberal but firm.
“liberal enough for you to know that there is love and firm enough for you to know he is in control.”
