A fresh conflict between Israel-Palestine kicked off Saturday after Hamas launched an attack, killing hundreds of Israelis

A video of a Palestinian man expressing his desire for peace between Israelis and Palestinians has gone viral.

The man in the video claims that while Palestinians are not hateful towards Jews, they are opposed to their lands being occupied by Israelis.

“How come I’m a refugee in my land? Why have I lost my house? Did I make something for Israel? Did I do something against Israel?” poses the man.

The man went on to say that he was doubtful that normalcy would ever return due to the two countries’ protracted war.

“My age is 50 years. I have seven kids. If I tell you I have hope, I’ll be joking.”

“To say the truth, there is no justice in the world. If you’re strong, everybody is afraid of you. If you are not, everybody tramples over you.”

He described the conditions in the Palestinian refugee camps as appalling.

“Come to our camp, and you’ll cry. The people are waiting for water. In Europe, a dog lives in good condition. Here, a human being doesn’t have water to drink.”

When asked if he had love in his heart, he replied that he wished Israelis and Palestinians could live in peace.

“I love everybody, including the Jews. We want our kids to live in good condition. On the Israeli side and the Palestinian side, I don’t want to fight. I don’t seek to kill. I’m against violence. We don’t want to see more bloodshed.”

“We want to tear down the walls of separation and embrace one another,” he said.

At least 1,100 people have died in the Israel-Palestine conflict that kicked off after Hamas launched the deadliest attacks in decades against Israel.
