Controversial preacher Pastor James Ng’ang’a has mocked Agano Party presidential aspirant Bishop David Waihiga Mwaure after be conceded defeat.

Mwaure is among the four presidential contenders alongside William Ruto of Kenya Kwanza, Azimo la Umoja’s Raila Odinga and George Wajackoyah of Roots Party.

In a video widely shared online on Sunday, August 14, Ng’ang’a mocked Mwaure after he trailed Wajackoyah in the hotly contested race.

The preacher asked Mwaure to go back to serving God, further wondering how Wajackoyah who was pushing for the legalization of marijuana garnered more votes than him.

Sasa huyu wa bangi nimeangalia nikaona hata Mandera ako na kura,” Ng’ang’a said.

Mwaure conceded defeat on Sunday, August 14 making him the first presidential candidate to do so.

In a televised address on Sunday, August 14, Mwaure noted that the party had done a tallying at their center using results uploaded on the IEBC portal.

“Dear Kenyans we wish to concede defeat in the 2022 presidential elections. This we are doing after seeing what our performance has been,” Mwaure stated.

The presidential hopeful also alleged plans to interfere with the tallying process at the Bomas of Kenya which is the National Tallying Center (NTC).

Mwaure went ahead to endorse Deputy President William Ruto, noting that his manifesto aligns with theirs.

“As we concede we endorse the winning friend, his excellency Dr William Samoei Ruto as the leading candidate
