Blogger Dennis Itumbi has finally admitted he is the father of baby girl who saw her fined for upkeep.
This follows a court order on Friday, November 29 that directed Itumbi to pay KSh 20,000 for upkeep.
“The child is mine. May the child suckle with both cheeks (sic). The best care, a father must offer a child is assured,” he wrote on Facebook.
Prodded by one of his fans who slammed the blogger for abandoning his child, Itumbi said he did not find anything sad as he was only after the truth.
“Nothing sad about demanding truth and accepting it.”
Itumbi had demanded DNA results to show if he was indeed the father of the child.
The mother of the child, through family law advocate Enricah Dulo had demaded among other things a KSh 50,000 monthly maintenance, a medical cover and school fees when the child starts school.
The woman also wants to include Itumbi’s name in the child’s birth certificate and has asked the court to order him to provide a copy of his national identity card.
