Supreme Court Judge Smokin Wanjala admitted in India with swine flu

Kenya Supreme Court Judge Smokin Wanjiwala is reportedly admitted in Apollo Hospital in India after catching swine flu.

Wanjala is said to be among top judges who attended an international conference on February 22.

Chief Justice David Maraga has confirmed the reports but said Wanjala may be discharged Wednesday, February 26.

Reports of Wanjala’s admission gained traction after a tweet that also said at least six judges of Supreme Court India were reported H1NI positive today.

Symptoms of swine flu include cough, fever, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills among others.

Swine flu if not well managed can lead to more serious problems including pneumonia, a lung infection, and other breathing problems.
