Retired President Daniel Moi has been admitted to Nairobi Hospital.
Moi is back in the facility barely two weeks after he was admitted at the same hospital.
A report by PD online seen by Gotta.news said the the former president was undergoing a routine check up.
“It is quite normal for any human being to go to hospital,” said his press secretary Lee Njiru.
“It is the discretion of his doctors to decide whether to discharge him today or tomorrow,” he said.
A team of doctors led by his personal physician David Silverstein were looking after him, he said.
A source who spoke to Gotta.news said the former president was rushed to hospital on Saturday with breathing problems but his situation has since improved.
Moi, 95, traveled to Israel for treatment for unknown ailment in March last year.
Mzee Moi ruled Kenya for 24 years between 1978 and 2002.
