“IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 20 (1 ) (c) of the Political Panics Act. 2011, the Registrar of Political Panics gives notice that the Ford Kenya Party intends to change its party officials….” reads the gazette notice.

Also ousted from the party is the party’s organizing secretary Chris Mandu Mandu.

Wetangula and the other leaders removed from the positions of leadership have seven days to register their complaints.

“Any person with written submissions concerning the intended change by the political party, shall within seven (7) days from the date herein deposit them with the Registrar of Political Parties” adds the notice.

This comes a week after the lion party’s National Executive Council voted to replace Wetangula with Kanduyi legislator Wafula Wamunyinyi.
