Poor decision-making is Mudavadi’s biggest obstacle to presidency – Ababu Namwamba

Chief Administrative Secretary Foreign Affairs Ababu Namwamba has said Amani National Congress Musalia Mudavadi is being haunted by bad political decisions of the past.

Namwamba said Mudavadi lack of foresight and inability to make firm decisions disadvantaged him in the local political matrix.

“ Musalia is one man I’m wishing he’ll join our team in this race because he is a gentleman,” he said.

“The only thing that lets him down is firm decision making. You see in this game you need to take firm decisions.

For instance in 2013, if Musalia had calculated well and saw he’d not garner enough votes to become president and instead opted to support Uhuru, he’d today be contesting for the Jubilee ticket with Ruto.”

Namwamba was addressing Ruto Mashinani team in Busia County.

The former Budalangi described the DP as an honest man and asked the team to sell the his policies in the grassroots.

“ Those planning to contest against the DP in 2022 will have a hard time,” said Namwamba.

Namwamba who is the former Budalang’I MP and ODM Secretary General jumped sheep months to the August 8 2017 poll, a decision that saw him lose to ODM’s Raphael Wanjala.
