You might have tried scrubbing with soap but the results are not as you wanted , this is because soap cannot get rid of the pigments on the skin.

Baking Soda and milk
You will require a 1 tablespoon baking soda
1 tablespoon milk.
You now have to Mix the milk and the baking soda.
Apply this mixture on the knees and elbows and gently scrub in circular motions for two to three minutes.
Rinse with water.
Repeat the process once in a week for two months.
Lemons
You will require lemon juice it is naturally a bleach which can highly help remove the dark skin.
You will have to squeeze out the juice from a lemon and apply on the knees and elbows.
Keep it on for an hour or until it completely dries.
Rinse with water.
If you do it for a couple of days your skin will have a huge change.
Aloe Vera
If you want your skin to be supple the Aloe Vera I the solution.
You will require an Aloe Vera leaf.
You will have to cut the aloe leaf and extract the gel present inside.
Apply this gel on the knees and elbows, and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes.
Rinse with lukewarm water.
Coconut Oil
You need to apply and massage coconut oil your rough and dark skin and after that have a warm shower. It should be noted that you should no apply soap but just pat dry. You can add drops of lemon juice too.
Apply coconut oil on your knees and elbows daily. Reapply before going to bed.
Curd
This one is always the best to moisturizing skins and also Curd can be used to lighten skin.
You have to add a teaspoon of of vinegar and gram flour to sour curd, and apply the mix. Rinse after 15 minutes with warm water.

Olive Oil
Mainly sugar is an excellent exfoliant. It removes the dead and dark skin cells easily and quickly while combined with olive oil leaving the skin hydrated and nourished.
You will require 2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons sugar
You have to Add the sugar to the oil and give it a stir. Apply this mixture on the black knees and elbows and Rub in circular motions for about five minutes.
Rinse with water.
Use this scrub every alternate day.
