A video of a mother hen fighting a cobra to save her chicks has gone viral on social media.
The 51-second video tweeted by Susanta Nanda of the Indian Forest Service on Thursday, May 21 has already been retweeted thousand of times.

The cobra slithered inside the closure as the hen made a brave attempt to block its path. In the ensuing melee, the terrified chicks are seen fluttering away.
The hen continued pecking the cobra while dodging every strike until all her chicks had scampered out of the enclosure safely.
The video has excited netizens with many hailing the mother hen for her act of bravery.
However, some of the netizens slammed the video saying the snake had been dropped in the hen’s enclosure to film the video.
