Award-winning education reporter and prominent Citizen TV journalist Makori Ongechi has resigned from Royal Media Services.
Makori is well known for his prowess on the fields of education and media at large.

A source revealed that Makori left the station after misunderstandings with the stations managers.
The source stated that staff were constantly accused leading to junior staff at the station accusing top managers of being helbent and recklessly wanting them out so that the can bring journalists of their choice on board.
“Many of the reporters are said to be facing constant accusations within the office with some working in fear of losing their jobs,” the source explained without citing specific individuals.
The source stated that Makori did not reveal the cause for his exit but it is speculated that he is among those who faced constant accusations from the managers in different sub-departments.
He has not yet revealed his next move but word have it that he will be going back at his former station.

“The fight between the former-led regime that offered Makori a permanent job immediately after he completed his internship at the station and the current crop of managers is the suspected reason why most renowned journalists have quit the station or lost their jobs,” the source added.
