He, however, did not disclose how much the deal is worth.

“Fresh chewing gum was rebranding they felt the need to partner with an artist who is rising right now in the entertainment industry and who resonates with their brand,” wrote Kahush.

Other than singing, Kahush is also an IT student in Leicester, UK.

According to a report by Kenyans.co.ke, Kahush as an IT student developed a system – Lighting and Motion Sensor System – that is able to sense motion and manage lighting in rooms depending on the motion detected.

The system turns on the light in a room when someone gets into the room and switches it off immediately they leave.

Speaking during a past interview with Citizen TV’s Sam Gituku, CS Kagwe confirmed that Kahush is indeed his son, adding he is a good rapper.

“Of course, I know Kahush, he is my youngest son, his name is actually Kahu Mburu but somewhere along the line Kahu Mburu became Kahush. He is a student, he is a first year student at Nottingham university in the UK, he is also a rapper and a good one too,” he said.

“I listen to his music sometimes, you know ‘Mi Siwezi’ and so on and so forth, yes I do know Kahu Mburu,” he added.
