A man named Martin Waithaka who appeared in a Nyeri court on Monday, February 15 left the judge and other members dumbfounded after entering the court singing Kikuyu and christian songs.
Waithaka was arrested by police officers on Friday, February 12 after blocking the Nyeri-Nyahururu highway throwing stones vehicle and people around the place.

Waithaka who hails from Mweiga location in Kieni West Sub-County, Nyeri County was presented before Principal Magistrate Nelly Kariuki with charges of causing disturbances to area residents.
It was when Waithaka caused drama inside the courtroom with his uncontrollable Kikuyu songs.
The court’s security men could not even manage to control the man who kept increasing the volume once ordered to get silent.
Magistrate Kariuki found Waithaka unfit to stand trial and ordered that the inculpate be taken for a psychiatric examination.

The case will be mentioned on Friday,February 19.
