DP Ruto vacates MP from seat to allow disabled man to sit on it

Deputy President William Ruto warmed many after vacating a Member of Parliament from his seat so that a disabled man can sit on it.

In the video widely shared on social media, the disabled man could be seen approaching the DP in a bid to speak with him.

The DP then asked Mumias East MP Benjamin Washiali who had seated beside him to stand so that the disabled man could seat.

DP Ruto had attended an interdenominational prayer service with faithful from Pentecostal churches convened at Bumula DDC’s Grounds in Bumula Constituency on Sunday, September 27.

The DP later addressed road side gatherings before treating a section of his supporters to refreshments at Mama Mary’s Ebenezer Shop in Bumula shopping center.

DP Ruto bought bottles of a create of soda and several packs of kaimati.

“Enjoyed a bottle of soda with fellow hustlers at Mama Mary’s Ebenezer shop after a Sunday service in Bumula. May God bless Mama Mary’s hustle,” the DP wrote.

He then addressed roadside meetings before leaving for Nairobi.
