Barack Obama’s half brother Malik Obama has heaped praises on Deputy President William Ruto.
In a Twitter message, Malik described DP Ruto as resilient, brilliant and kind-hearted.

“@WilliamsRuto is tough, resilient, brilliant, and most of all kind at heart. He has stood with many who have betrayed him. I stand with the @HustlerNation,” wrote Malik on Twitter.
Malik is known for going against the grain whenever he smells opportunity to hog limelight and self-advancement.
Malik’s message elicited mixed reactions with some calling him opportunistic.
In the 2016 US poll, Malik supported Donald Trump as Barack supported Democrat’s, Hilary Clinton.
However, Malik supported his half brother during his 2008 quest and in his re-election in 2012.

Malik was his half brother’s best man when Barack Obama married Michelle.
He also unsuccessfully contested for Siaya Gubernatorial seat in the 2013 General Election.
