Chadwick Boseman: Black Panther’s T’Challa succumbs to colon cancer

Actor Chadwick Boseman has died aged 43.

The ‘Black Panther’ star succumbed to colon cancer on Friday night, August 28 after a four-year battle.

Confirming his death, his publicist Nicki Fioravante said the actor died at his Los Angeles home with his wife and family by his side.

According to his family, Boseman was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it as it progressed to stage IV.

Boseman’s T’Challa character was introduced to the Marvel movies in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, and his Wakanda Forever salute became famous after the release of ‘Black Panther’.

Boseman has never talked about his battle with cancer publicly.
