White Americans kneel before black community, pray for forgiveness over racism (video)

America is on its hour of reckoning. Years of what experts are calling systemic racism are coming to the fore in the protests on George Floyd’s murder by a white police officer.

The words ” I can’t breathe” by Floyd shortly before he died are haunting. They sear the heart and lend a glimpse of the deadly effects of racism. Floyd’s killing has stoked protests across the world.

The protesters carrying the ” Black lives Matter” placards during protests in Minneapolis and across America are demanding an end to racism.

A video has now emerged online of white Americans apologising to a group of black men and women for the systemic racism, albeit in a prayer.

In the video seen by GOTTA.news, a group of white men and women kneel as one man in donning a Yankee cap prays.


” We ask for forgiveness from our black brothers and sisters for years and years of systemic racism,” he says.

The group of black men and women stand humbled with sobs being heard from the group.

Derek Chauvin, the officer who was seen pressing his knee on Floyd for nearly nine minutes has since been fired.
